November 7, 2008 The TK Concrete car driven by
Kerry Madsen had a rough go of it out in Charlotte to
say the least. Kerry had qualified good enough to start
front row of the 1st heat on Saturday night, and were in
a good position to pick up some big bucks. On the start
of the heat, the start was botched and got Madsen
crossed up but the green stayed out. Going down the
backstretch, the 14 of Jason Meyers tried to clear
Madsen and didn't have enough room and got into
Kerry's left front sending him spinning across the track.
After that, Kerry went out and won the B main putting
them in 15th for the A. Madsen had just started to
make his way up to 12th when the 24 of Rob Chaney
dumped it over and Madsen was committed to the
cushion and smoked the parked car of Chaney, ending
his season.
On a lighter note, Congratulations to VerMeer
Motorsports Crew Chief Sonny Kratzer for winning the
Crew Cheif of the Year!!!!

October 26, 2008 A rainout earlier this season forced
the Outlaws to makeup at Heartland Park in Topeka, KS
this weekend. For the 55 team it was a sigh of relief
after having a rough go of things out in California.
Saturday night The Madman timed 10th quick and won
his heat race. He then went on to win the Crane Cams
Dash. This started him on the pole next to 2 time and
defending series Champion Donny Schatz. Madsen
would go on to lead the first 25 laps of the main and
then would be overtaken by Schatz on lap 26. Madsen
picked up a second place finish on the night. This week
is the Vault World Finals and is televised live on Speed
Saturday night!!!
October 14, 2008 The TK 55 Car just recently finished
up a weekend out in New Mexico at Hollywood Hills
Speedway. Friday night was taken down by mother
nature as they rained out but they did get to run on
Saturday. The 55 machine posted a 12th place finish
after qualifying fifth and running 3rd in the heat race.
Earlier this month they went up north to Minnesota for a
2 day show. Friday night at the North Central
Speedway in Brainerd, MN Madsen finished with
another top 5 finish. Saturday however they found
themselves behind the 8-ball after qualifying 15th and
finishing 4th in the heat. This started them 15th in the
feature and Madsen would advance 2 more spots to
pick up a 13th place.
September 26, 2008 The TK Concrete 55 machine has
been stringing together some decent runs lately.
Although the team still remains winless in the rookie
season as a team, they are currently 7th in WoO
standings with 7092 points with Chad Kemenah
knocking on the door for 7th. Some exciting news soon
to come for the 55 team as they have decided to pack
up some equipment during the winter and run the TK
concrete Maxim down under in Austraila for a month.
Kerry is the 3 time and defending Australian champion
so the chances of bringing home some coin is pretty
good. A formal press release will be released this week.
September 11, 2008 Last night we raced at Clay
County Fairgrounds in Spencer, IA. Kerry went out and
timed 6th quick and this put him 2nd row inside for the
3rd Heat. He ended up finishing 3rd in his heat and
missed the dash. They ran the show through pretty
quick because of a threat of rain, and it started misting
at the beginning of the A-Main. They had driver
introductions and this basically just made it perfect
timing for the boys to run the race in the mist. Kerry
started 11th and battled with Jac Haudenschild and
Danny Lasoski at times but it seemed like it was pretty
tough to pass and Kerry and the TK Concrete 55 car
ended up 10th on the night.
I finally got the in-car video formatted well enough to go
on youtube! I messed with some things and it still isn't
the best but I figured it will work. The audio cuts in and
out because my camera was falling apart, and it finally
just stops working with a few to go, right before things
get dicey, of course. but enjoy!

September 8, 2008 Sorry Its been almost a whole
month since I have last updated, well looking back on
the stats so far, Kerry is Leading the KSE Hard Charger
Standings with 8 Awards total on the year. He currently
sits 7th in points and has posted a best finish of 2nd
this year. This week it looks like the WoO finally
makes its way back to the Midwest starting Wednesday
with a show in Iowa at the Clay County Fair in Spencer.
Results from the last month are posted now so check
them out and we will see you at the races!!
August 10, 2008 Well after a long week a the Knoxville
Nationals for the Boys, they are headed up North to
Fargo, ND. Wednesday night started off about as bad
as it could for the 55 team. Going into turn 1 of the
heat race, Kerry was involved in a 7 car melee that got
the best of his Maxim chassis and it sidelined the team
for the rest of the night. This put the VerMeer
Motorsports team in the worst possible position for
Friday night's Non-Qualifiers event. Lining up 17th for
this event, it really put a dark cloud over the team but
Kerry showed why he is the Madman by storming up to
2nd in only 12 laps! This put him tenth row outside for
the A-main and Kerry again showed that he was a force
to be reckoned with that night. He again charged up to
2nd place after passing 2 cars with one lap to go and
also ran down leader Brian Brown by the checkered
flag. Next up was the Myracelife.com World Challenge.
The field was inverted according to qualifying efforts
and since Kerry wasn't in the show yet, he started on
the pole. Needless to say, the 55 car was once again
on a tear and ran away with the $10,000 check!
Saturday's C-main showed the 55 car in 7th by the end
of the race with a pretty one-lane track.
July 31, 2008 After a not so good night at Paducah, the
VerMeer Motorsports team was looking for a better
showing back in Iowa at 34 Raceway in West Burlington.
Less than 2 hrs, away from team headquarters, the
whole gang rolled into town on Wednesday night. Kerry
ran a decent time, putting him one spot out of the invert
for front row of the heats. Next he ran 5th in the heat to
transfer to the A-Main on a one lane track, where the
cushion barely got above the middle. The rest of the
night didn't really get any better. Kerry started 12th in
the A-main and was only able to advance his spot by
one at the Checkers as the track was a follow the leader
type track all night long. This weekend the team gears
up for Wisconsin and then starting Wednesday its the
Knoxville Nationals!
July 21, 2008 Another 3 day weekend with 2 days at
the Grove and one at Lebanon Valley was middle of the
road for the VerMeer Team. Friday night Kerry and
team fell behind the 8 ball, made contact early in the A
main and finished 22nd. Saturday Kerry ran 5th quick
and finished 4th in the heat. He started 11th in the
feature finishing 9th. Sunday night it looked like the
VerMeer Motorsports team had a solid car all night at
Lebanon Valley. They ran 6th quick and finished 1st in
the heat. They made the Crane Cams dash but Mother
Nature came out victorious as rains forced a
postponement of the even until late September. The
team heads to Canada this week for a 2 day show WAY
up north.
July 16, 2008: The VerMeer team finished its 2 day
show at Eldora this weekend and went on to race the
Don Martin Memorial at Lernerville Speedway this week.
Kerry and the boys had decent runs at Eldora posting a
14th and an 8th. Last night the TK 55 had a solid run
as it went from the 12th starting spot to finish 5th at the
Don Martin Memorial.
New Pictures and Videos are posted!
July 11, 2008: This weekend the VerMeer 55 team
gears up for the Kings Royal. The "Big E" is one of the
most legendary dirt tracks in the world. Tonight is the
Knight before the King's Royal while the outlaws run for
$10,000 to win. Tomorrow night the Outlaws and the
TK 55 run for $50,000. Kerry has had one of his two
fourth place finishes at Eldora this year and has run
very well there in the past. Tune into
www.dirtvision.com tonight or watch it on Speed next
weekend!
